that enhance organizational effectiveness and and productivity, ensure the
organizational become “ A grate place to work” and are the conductive to health,
safety and well being of employees”

(2014, p.136),
The main objective the work design is used to boost the
productivity of the organizations by enhancing the motivation, satisfaction and
the sense of personal achievement. Creating
system of work and making good environment is help to overcome the employee dissatisfaction
and the de motivation. Its basically content and organization and employee work
tasks to meet objectives. Both way benefits are there.

Aspects of work design
Every employee has a number of tasks, activities and
responsibilities that need to carry out, usually in the work place collaboration
with others. Work design is basically how these tasks, activities,
responsibilities and interactions with other people are organized and structured.
Good work design is helps to increase the productivity/safety/performance/innovation
which is more important to achieve organization objectives, as it affects both
individual employees and organizational outcomes. For employees, work design
can affect their motivation, their well-being and their development. Increased
employee motivation.

As mentioned before, the work is designed can affect Both employee

Employee Well-being
1. Changing
the nature, number or organization of tasks and responsibilities to reduce
stress and/or provide more resources, such as making modifications to working
hours, introducing working from home policies, flexible work hours, form standard
work sheet, GL culture, set achievable KPI and measure individual performance and
providing more supportive environment.
2. Empowering and motivating employees to
proactively implement their own strategies to reduce sources of stress, and/or
increase their resources (e.g. allowing employees the freedom to structure
their own work day)

Performance & Productivity
Good work is productive, efficient work and the level of
quality is higher. also as mentioned before, work design can optimize
motivation, job satisfaction, performance, safety and innovation. work design
that makes better use of employee skills and the connectivity either through
increasing task variety or skill utilization. Moreover, building motivation
into work can help to develop a committed and energized workforce.

Designing Work that is Healthy and Safe
Health and safety is a most important criteria for the
organizations where support to the productivity as well as the compliance. The link between work design and employee
health has been of interest due to that importance and needed for the design of
healthy work today due to the increased complexity, demands and pressure in
many jobs and heightened concerns about health issues in society.
